SPJ Las Vegas Journalism Scholarship

Current college students studying journalism at a Southern Nevada college in order to pursue a future career in journalism may apply for the scholarship. Student must have a 2.5 or higher college GPA to apply and plan to study journalism at a Southern Nevada college during the upcoming school year. One scholarship in the amount of $1,000 will be awarded. This scholarship is being administered by the Public Education Foundation.

2022-2023

Congratulations to Jana Marquez, a student at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and winner of the 2022-2023 SPJ Las Vegas Journalism Scholarship! Marquez is an Urban Ambassador for the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs, a former editor for the school newspaper, and a passionate writer and storyteller.
